"The first and last name in mountain bikes." Gary Fisher started making bikes in the early 1970's and hasn't stopped developing and creating technological advancements in the mountain biking arena. His story is unique - a single man vision of bicycling as a sport turned into a company for the betterment of bicycling everywhere. A bike bum at heart, Fisher wanted his bikes, but more importantly his sport, accessible to everyone, and began taking steps to make his high-cost two-wheelers more affordable.
