The Details What's Included Bicycles come fully equipped and ready to ride. We have a selection of pedals including plain open platform pedals, SPD-compatible clipless pedals, and pedals with old style toe clips and straps. Some people prefer to bring their own pedals or saddles to make the rental bike feel more familiar. We are glad to install these for you if you like. At no extra charge we can also provide you with a pump and a patch kit, water bottle cage, and a Seattle Bicycle Map. Optional Accessories We recommend that you bring your own helmet and other accessories, but we also have some items that you can rent for only two dollars per day each including helmet, locks, lights etc. What to Bring You will need to present a valid U.S. Driver's License or a Passport, as well as a credit card with sufficient credit line to accommodate an authorization for the value of the equipment you are renting. Please do not use a debit card for this as it will cause the deposit to be taken out of your checking account rather than just authorized on your account. Be aware that it may take several days after the rental for the card issuer to release the authorization. We have no way to expedite this process. What to Know You may reserve a bike by phone. We will need to know the following:
Rental Agreement You will take full responsibility for the bicycle as well as your own riding safety. If the bicycle is stolen while you have it on rental, you will pay the depreciated value of the equipment. If you are in an accident or damage the bicycle otherwise you will be responsible for your own medical expenses as well as any repairs needed to bring the bike back to optimal condition.
