Even if you own a different bike for everything, it's still necessary to have one that can do it all. That bike is the Space Horse. It's become a cult favorite because of its classic styling and ability to handle just about any task or terrain. All-City's Space Horse Disc frameset allows you to build your perfect bike with the addition of all-weather control disc brakes. The geometry is a mix of traditional road and randonneur, with a relatively short rear end and a bottom bracket that’s slightly lower than a standard road bike. This gives it both agile handling for riding unbridled and increased stability when loaded. This blend of geometry and 612 Select tubing create a bike that is capable of quick road centuries, gravel racing, commuting, and of course loaded touring. The frame accommodates front and rear racks, fenders, and tires up to 42c in size for the 700c bikes and 45c for the 650B version. It also utilizes a dropout with a replaceable derailleur hanger. All of the classic All-City touches are present: signature brazed-on seat collar, pantographed bottom bracket shell, pump peg, reinforcements on the bottle bosses, and a beautiful lugged crown fork. The fork sports both a double eyelet on the dropout and mid-blade mounts to allow you to use pretty much whatever front rack you wish.
From dirt paths to singletrack trails, this aluminum hardtail will get you rolling with its smooth handling and confident control. If you’re like us, your bike needs will likely change by the day, week, month or year. Ogre will get you to your job during the week, then way out of town on the weekend. It even has the chops to handle a cross-country trek or nine. It’s not sluggish on pavement or gravel and can also hold its own on singletrack. Ogre is designed to be the ultimate steel utility vehicle. It relishes in those “take-the-long-way-home-and-find-some-beverages-along-the-way” sort of commutes. You can also haul enough crap on it that you don’t even have to go home if you don’t want to. For this year, we simplified Ogre a bit. We removed the canti studs, so it is now a disc brake-only beast. Now, before you start yelling at us about how the canti studs were the only reason you were even considering buying an Ogre and now we’ve left you contemplating your very existence in this ultimately-doomed universe, hear us out. Rim brake 29er rims — like the ones that you would need to have to make use of those canti studs in the first place — are becoming increasingly harder to find. We could have given you a feature that you’d end up not really being able to use in the future but what kind of monsters do you think we are? To quench your unquenchable thirst for rim brakes, check out the Troll. As far as other updates to the frame go, that about sums it up. Ogre still has everything else you’ve come to know and love: two water bottle mounts, four sets of three-pack bosses, mid- and low-blade fork eyelets, threaded holes for racks, fenders, and trailer mounting nuts, and a Rohloff OEM2 axle plate slot. It still features horizontal-slotted dropouts with Gnot-Boost spacing, a tweaked non-suspension corrected geometry, and a beefy tire clearance. It’s still fully compatible with both 29 x 2.5” and 27.5+ tires. In the complete bike version, we’ve opted to go with a 1x drivetrain and a flat handlebar. We typically try to avoid BS cliché terms like “Do-It-All” or “Swiss Army Knife of Bikes”, so we’ll just say that Ogre can probably handle most of the ideas that are bouncing around in your head.

WTB STX i23 TCS wheels deliver on strength and light weight, while the Schwalbe Racing Ray tires fly over hardpack and dig into sketchy corners. SRAM serves up 12 wide-ranging speeds, and gets it power through a stiff TruVativ crankset, resulting in efficient power transfer and crisp, precise shifting to give you the advantage on every part of the course. Shimano MT500 hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable braking power when you need it, so you can carry more speed and brake at the last possible second, and Cannondale's cockpit components and Fabric Scoop saddle keep you in control and race-ready.
