The Sinewave Reactor takes the performance of our Revolution dynamo-powered USB charger and shrinks it into a package that fits above the star-fangled nut in a threadless steerer tube, with a pass through for the 6mm bolt. The only visible part is a custom CNC-milled stem cap holding the USB connector. The cap is only 9.8mm tall and available in silver, black, red and blue. The heart and soul of SILCA. The 731 washer is the same washer used in all Pista pumps for 60 plus years, and is crafted from the same leather as Italian handbags and sports car interiors. From a purely functional standpoint, inexpensive o-rings are most commonly used in this application, but no o-ring can match the smooth feel and zero-stiction action of a leather gasket. It is common today to find SILCA leather gasket pumps throughout the professional peloton (especially during the spring classics) as o-ring seal pumps struggle with heat and often are unable to seal once the pump barrel is hot from inflating more than a few wheels.
